"He thinks he’s playing with Monopoly money... Too much Leonard Nimoy... That’s the Chicago Way... He’s a pushover... He sees America as another pleasant country on the U.N. roll call, somewhere between Albania and Zimbabwe... President Pelosi... He’s in love with the man in the mirror...."

Why aren't they getting more use?

There is a Lincolnesque reaction to the smiling gentle thinker side of Obama's two faces that ignores the serious Marxist surgeon dedicated to amputating capitalism , military power, independence from World Governance, and all support for Israel from the USA's body politic. His smile is wearing thin as we discover that we are likely dying on this Doctor's operating table of Lies Lies and more Lies while he smiles and says that his radical surgery "will not hurt".

You're asking why we don't see more negative coverage on Obama than we do?

That is a real mystery, what with our perfectly impartial press.

Obama isn't Spock. He's Nurse Chapel. He's not in love with logic. He's in love with the impression of logic.

That's right Henry. Other than the Spock analogy, all the others resonated as basically true. Now that you've explained the Spock one... I can choose "all of the above"!!

They are, but only on talk radio, Fox News, and the blogosphere.

President Pelosi...that actually gave me a cold chill when I first read it.

Barack Obama is George Washington compared to someone like Pelosi...an ideolog who is also completely clueless.

Actually, the man in the mirror is in love with himself. As they say, there's no "there" there.

A tabula rasa still.

As a follow-up to edutcher's comment: given how easy access is to Fox, talk radio and conservative internet sites it stuns me that so many continue to limit their news consumption to the old lamestream.

How about an online Poll?

Please include an "all of the above" button.

President Obama is not Spock. He is really Captain Christopher Pike.

Partly, because they are mutually contradictory. We can no longer afford to be the world's policeman, given the massive debts we've already taken on. So any saber-rattling Obama does is unlikely to be taken seriously. He's got to take on partners and outsource some of this.

Similarly, as acknowledged in the post, being brass-knuckled is inconsistent with being a patsy. Obama is not a driver but a leader and coalition builder. The leader is out in front -- a driver pushes from behind. Obama doesn't need to claim credit -- let others do that. Not that dreams of glory motivate Pelosi, either. So it's hard to picture him as Mr. Ego.

The only template that rings true is his Spock-like phlegmatic nature. I suspect the other templates reflect their creators' perspectives on the world rather than Obama's.

They haven't, because of a biased press. But that only lasts so long. They are starting to take and they will. Or perhaps more accurately, the most accurate of them will take. My guess is that monopoly money will be the winner, as an easier sell in view of the available line of attack based on stimilus, et al. Pushover may run second. Mirror third.

No, Obama is the Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Opposition must be eliminated. You have been warned.

None of those are that damaging, and some of them are like something Waylon Smithers (or Joe Klein) would think up.

Just choosing one thing at random from a long list of things BHO wouldn't want to be pressed on, see this. No one from the MSM or Politico would a) know enough to really press him on that, and b) have the integrity to do it even if they did understand those issues.

Unfortunately, the supposed BHO opponents aren't filling the gap, with their leaders at the most encouraging them to go to townhalls and throw tantrums. What I've been doing for almost three years is trying to get people to go "cross-examine" people like BHO, and I've gotten almost zero help with that despite (or because of) the fact that it could be used to both clean up DC and undercut the MSM.

Almost everyone knows the MSM sucks, but part of the fault also lies with those supposedly on the other side.

Loanwacko,

You should not be such a pessimist. We have an election in 11 months and, if the republicans cannot tag the democrats with wasting our children's money for no benefit to the country, e.g., spending money like monopoly, they will be guilty of the greatest political malpractice in the history of our country. They can even do it without directly attacking Obama, but having it still stick to him. It will not require much help from the press.

You know, my wife was watching the Charley Rose show last year, either just before the election or just after it, when Nancy Pelosi was on. She basically laid it out right there at the table -- that the real governing would come from the legislative branch and Obama would have to take what they gave him. Looks like she knew whereof she spoke.
