That one I understand. On to the Rose Bowl! Will you and Meade use some sky-miles and make the trip? It is only 10 weeks from today.

Well, you know, I've never gone to a football game (other than 1 high school game in the 60s). And I went to college at the University of MIchigan and have been at UW since 1984. The chances of me going to a football game or any spectator sport are quite small. But I am happy when the people in my city are happy.

(I've gone to golf tournaments solely because a family member was playing.)

I did watch the game on TV (but was also on the computer until the last 7 minutes).

I like the "bounce right off the line" version of On Wisconsin!

Cracks me up every time.

The Carrillon tower was a grade school field trip for surrounding communities back in my day. Do they still do that I wonder?

WV = "biblym" worthless or oversimplified ideas derived from books.

It's some of what I love about living in a college town.
