Today's low-key protest, with lots of preprinted signs that said "Integrity" and "No Games."

We saw a couple speakers attempting to infame the small crowd with suspicions about the Supreme Court election, but the people seemed resigned and grim....

The subsequent march around the square stimulated conversation and a natural smile...

Some young guys with integrity signs accost Meade and interrogate him about his "angle"...

"It's not over until we say it's over," says a sign, quoting the movie "Animal House"....

Here are all 58 of today's photographs. I've also got a 5-minute video, coming soon.

Do the "Integrity" and "No Games" signs mean that they understand the 7500 votes were not found in a sack somewhere but were only misreported, and they therefore do not support any efforts to label the election as fraudulent?

One might think that "Integrity" precludes buying judges. They thought they owned the WI Supreme Court, they bought Kloppenberg fair and square.

That's a mighty handsome collection of humans. I reckon.

"Elections matter" Really? They've lost the last two important ones, so they're protesting and refusing to accept the fact that they lost. So...they matter, how?

Don't any of these people work or have any responsibilities to pull them away from this childish nonsense?

traditionalguy said...

Seeing those signs makes one think that they are Proser supporters. I think that they realize Proser was never their enemy, but only a sacrificial scapegoat, and they are now deeply ashamed of themselves.

Again with the protests? Don't any of these people have jobs?

Looks like the demonstrations are not ending with a bang.

I'm still suspicious. Even about the new tally. Like someone was about to expose the huge vote scam, and the Dems wisely decided to cut them off at the pass. Better to give it back to Prosser, then to risk exposure. Live to cheat another day.

Because there's still 257,500 fraudulent Kloppenburg votes to uncover.

You forgot the "men in shorts" tag..

They look pretty infammable to me; downright gum.

I wonder how many are going to turn up for the recall elections.

Don't be so quick to judge. It is possible that they are getting paid to do protests, y'know. That's work.

@raf

Yeah, they're working it all right.

Awesome parade of Bone Ugly in those first two photos, particularly.

For a moment, there, I thought I was watching the CGI Orc army from The Lord of the Rings on the march again.

So who is responsible for all the pre-printed signs? TA's maybe? They look kind of amateurish, yet not necessarily homegrown.

Big Mike said...

They're lefties. They have no comprehension of what the word "integrity" means.

Jason (the commenter) said...

"Integrity", "No Games"; should have asked them which side they were protesting for; The Tea Party could come along and hold up most of those signs.

waitin' for the video, professor. Let's snap it up...

Wow. It looks like Meade got caught in the hipster dofous parade.

You have the wrong hat dude.

Almost Ali said...

Besides, if they had any integrity, they'd be marching to save the baby elephant.

Reminds me of the sterotypical "Jap holdout" who still thought he was fighting WW2 into the Sixties.
(Though I doubt that that batch of enemies of America were nearly as plump and happy as this crowd.)

Wait, no obligatory "Animal House" reference?

The sad thing is that now we would quit after the Germans bombed pearl harbor.

Or at least let them build at beer garden instead of the Arizona memorial.

Does this mean the next target is the University of Madison homecoming parade? That'll show 'em.

The basset / beagle is adorable. I love hounds of all types. I have a basset hound, and she is the same color combination as Joey.

To them "integrity" is not counting the votes of an entire city.

I love the "No Dirty Tricks" sign, partially hidden.

The irony is crushing.

I don't understand all those marchers in the red shirts with the blue clenched fists on them. Has Madison gone San Francisco? A march in support of fisting? I just don't get it. I thought it was all about union jobs or something like that.

"Man in capris."

I've heard men in capris call what they're wearing "pirate pants."

If there were an emoticon for I started laughing right then and I'm still laughing now and will laugh into infinity, I would use it here.

Yes, that must be it.

Carol_Herman said...

Well, that's a pretty thin crowd!

Imagine if you were Filene's basement. And, you advertised a SALE ... and only these many people showed up?

Now, you tell me, the streets of Madison, such as they are, are gonna go to Wakesha (whatever) county ... and seize their computers for a forensic investigation.

Oh, yeah. And, the Governor is Walker!

Street demonstrations are a dime a dozen.

While the guy photographing Meade can almost pass for a "Drudge photographing Meade" encounter.

What's with the funeral directors suits? Will they bury Kloppenburg. Why not some signs to her "victory party?"

Carol_Herman said...

It seems seeing the math just confuses the people who can't do math.

If they come up with 7,500 protesters, which they don't have ... could they hand out ballots like those doctors handed out sick notes?

Behind the scenes you gotta wonder if the union thugs aren't getting "holy crap" from Klodhopper.

How come no one asks about the strange 10,000 vote tally, where only the Klopper's name was checked off? Yet the mayor's race was also a hot one?

Man, if you did this in California, your ballot would be invalidated.

LOL Lapedus! "Nobody here but us friendly fisters!" But you know, while I realize that a partial explanation is that they've seized on the fist as a convenient approximate for the outline of the state's geographical boundaries, make no mistake about it, this is ALL ultimately leftist, Marxist/neo-Marxism driven. The clenched-fist is right out of the Communist Internationale, although I'm sure the avg housewife-teacher protester is naively/stupidly unaware of the fact. This is at bottom ALL driven by the EXACT same kernal of political philosophy as Communism--ALL of it--albeit heavily disguised..

That man who claims it is not over until we say it is over looks like one who was in several other of your photos earlier - and he was leading a group of protesters then. Guess he must be a union employee whose prime job is to futz up the message that the media is pushing.

The logic of protesting has always escaped me. Just because a bunch of people show up and march, chant and carry signs, it doesn't mean they really represent any more than themselves. Yet they call it democracy.

Democracy shows up at the ballot box, not in mobs that make threats and call people names.
