"The situation on Bascom Hill already is disruptive" in preparation for Obama's rally tomorrow.

Says Irene in the comments to the last post.
This morning, a worker who admonished me for "standing" behind heavy equipment when I paused to take a photograph.

When I stated that I found the situation disruptive, one of his coworkers chirped, "Obviously, a Republican."

Wow!

"ugh.."those people""

You mean Republicans or construction workers who have the audacity to tell political jokes/taunt academics?

A question for Ann. Not having visited your beautiful campus, just how many people can they fit in that area?

Irene's racist, too, no doubt.

Noticing anything adverse about Obama is racist. Old racial speeches, F&F, Libya, quotes from his memoirs, and free cell phones are racist.

Mentioning it is twice as racist.

Face it, you racist peons, it's Obama's neighborhood to do with as he pleases whenever he goddamn wants to.

So stop whining and get back to making some more tax money for Obama to spend.

Shut up, because: racist.

Hey if Ann were liberal, she'd be lying in front of the bulldozer!

@TWM, maybe this link will help?

Being in construction all my adult life, I kinda doubt there was any need for earth moving equipment.

Maybe all who enter the “campaign event” should swear an oath.
"Do you solemnly swear to worship Obama, the progressive lord and savior, will all your heart?"

No?

Guards - seize her!

Mass public rallies to swear allegiance to Der Leader of national socialism has to start somewhere.

Wisconsin is first again.

A be in. A sit in. Lay it down lay it down. Flashback.....sorry.

"Disruptive" is a code-word for "black." Obvious racism.

All right, there are 47% who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government is responsible for them, who believe they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what...

Irene shouldn't mess w/Willard's 47%! :-P

Ain't that the truth.

BTW Shiloh, you're a goddamn racist for pointing it out.

If someone said to me, "You must be a Republican," you know what I would say?

"Thank you."

The Wisconsin University's zeal for Obama is stunning.

IMO this shows their desire for a strong one man rule as a result of the continual crisis climate in economic shifts with necessary adjustments withheld at gun point by Obama's Czars in the EPA and and the FED.

That will not go away until the divider-in-chief Obama has either gone away of taken over as American Emperor.

Act 10 is currently suspended because of a Dane County judge, and there is an injunction against WI voter ID law enactment because of a Dane County judge.

There must be some basis for someone to go to a Dane County judge and seek an injunction against the UW allowing this campaign event to be held, pending review if this event is serving a proper public purpose.

Now, I know that there is no chance of a Dane County judge issuing such an injunction, but imagine the national publicity such a stunt would generate. Especially if it would be one of the same judges that did the Act 10 or voter ID actions.

Althouse: Don't forget your flash card and seat assignment.

For this event Obama campaign staffers will only be taking cell phone numbers, but in future they will be noting ration card numbers, as well.

Forward!

Brain-dead.

And it's the little weasel that can't leave racism alone.

Except when it pours out of the mouth of his Messiah.

C'mon, sweetie, tell us what you think of Barry's rant.

Wassamatta, no guts?

"Wow" indeed...never surprises me how snippy some folks get when they are warned about dangerous equipment/situations. I see this a lot while working on campus. Too many people...especially "academics"...refuse to think they could ever get hurt and so they get all bent out of shape when told by a "worker" to watch out.

Ever see someone ran over by a forklift? The forklift always wins.

And by extension any piece of heavy equipment one is too stupid to get out of the way of.
