Today was one of those wonderful Spring mornings. Somewhat humid from the overnight rain, every garden looking new, that beautiful bright green of new Spring leaves.

It's about time.

Funny how amoral men are called... dogs.

Mostly by women.

We had Border Collie burgers along with Airedale soup for the starting course the other night.

I did look at my reflection on the surface of the soup, wondering at the complex dynamics going on in the bowl, trying to make sure I thought anew at the complex refraction of light and laws of thermodynamics I was witnessing.

A dog barked far-off in the distance.

And which governor's race is that Garage? Any links so we can see what state and who did the survey?

Donald Sterling is a "racist" because he privately told his mistress he didn't like her hanging around with black dudes, but...

Group That Listed ‘Pitfalls Of Working With White People’ Received DOJ Grants

An organization that published a list of 29 “Pitfalls of Working With White People” that was circulated at a diversity conference earlier this year received hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants from the U.S. Department of Justice, the Daily Caller has learned.

Beyond Diversity Resource Center, based in New Jersey, is listed as a partner organization for the White Privilege Conference which was held in Madison, Wisc. in March.

One of the “pitfalls” listed on the Center’s pamphlet, published by the website Progressives Today, is that white people “ask stupid questions”.

The diversity group, which claims that it “works to build a society that honors individuals because of their cultural differences”, wrote on the pamphlet that whites “benefit financially off the backs of people of color.”

White people “are arrogant”, they “say something stupid” and “get too friendly too fast,” the diversity center’s pamphlet claims.

The organization has published several books on diversity and racism including “The Anti-Racist Cookbook” and “The Great White Elephant”. They also lead educational seminars and workshops throughout the country.

And an increasing share of their funding has come from the federal government – mainly the U.S. Department of Justice.

Garage, is that among likely voters or registered voters? And what is the margin of error? I hate (cough) to see you set yourself up for another big disappointment if somehow some way Walker is elected for a third time by the voters of Wisconsin.

Garage, if Walker loses to this nonentity, he really should go back to college and get his degree.

We will see if Marquette Law School belongs in the polling business.

Until then, premature gloating by either side is very unwise.

I don't have any expectations whatsoever. That's the beauty.

A café… and so many things could be discussed… a fierce dog crouches in the tall grass under clouds the blogger calls "angry"… and the first comment is about a political poll, lying about a political poll it turns out, about the heavily over-discussed Governor of Wisconsin.

That's just too sad.

How many people live in a cage with an open door?

What was the lie? Every paper in the state is reporting exactly what I commented on. You're just pathetic when it comes to Walker. Embarrassing.

"What was the lie?"

I went to the link you provided. Maybe I misread it, but I didn't see a 46-46 "dead heat."

Ann Althouse said...

Okay, I reread it, and there's a "likely voters" 3-point spread and a 46-46 among "registered voters."
