"The horrifying scene was filmed by an MTA security camera and captured the 23-year-old man’s final moments..."

"... which were later uploaded to Facebook for the world to see. The NYPD said it is investigating who posted the shots."

I wonder if the poor guy's name was Charlie.

And I thought peeing on the "third rail" was deadly.

Re: Charlie
At first glance I read MTA as MBTA.

If the guy had used a urinal, he would still be alive.

If the guy had let the train go by, he would still be alive.

an A train ... bumps him as he tries to skirt around a “Do Not Enter” sign.

I was trying to imagine what the NYC subway would look like if it had been thoroughly idiot-proofed, but gave up after imagining trains being boarded via jetways.

The click bait on the right margin offered up this tidbit: Sharpton lawyer accused of rape is "hung like a cashew"

I think he's going for the it's-not-rape-rape defense.

"Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?"

Hey, if millions of people watch it, it may save a life or two. (Maybe I don't want to ignore that sign...)

Speaking of signs, that's one huge difference I noticed when I used to live in Liberia. Here we have writing everywhere on everything. Warnings all over the place. Just everywhere. Over there, not so much. In a way, it was nicer not to have all that verbal pollution cluttering things up. There might be a downside, too.

Ayup.
