Trump warned us. Many will be bothered that he wins too much. There is no humility in that.

We are going to have a Clint Eastwood persona on our hands.

My daughter sent the following article this morning. Seems that 'scientists' are saying that testosterone is not only unhealthy but unsexy! I've never seen so much anti-male propaganda as I've seen this year. By all means, let us develop a truly gender-neutral society. :-\

Wikileaks drops the smoking gun too late. "We have to dump those emails." I'm not a lawyer, but that surely shows intent.

Am reposting from the earlier thread, but Tim in Vermont mentions it above:

And with the latest Wikileak, you have John Podesta, on the evening of March 2nd, 2015, writing to Cheryl Mills telling her that they would have to "dump those e-mails so better to do sooner than later". The New York Times published their story about Clinton's e-mail server the very next morning in the print edition. Given that The Times almost surely asked for a comment before publishing, it is all but certain that Podesta and Mills are writing about the e-mails not sent to the State Department as hard copies from Clinton's private server/s.

Add to the above that later that March the tech at Platte River was in on a teleconference with Clinton's staff, and then immediately began bleaching the archive of the entire account that was still in his possession (all which was technically under the Congressional subpoena issued on March 4th, 2015), and then had another teleconference with Clinton's legal team, I think you have prima facie case of obstruction.

A real investigation of the new Abedin e-mails should be combined with the information that is coming from the Wikileaks. It should involve a grand jury, it should issue subpoenas for all of Mills' and Podesta's e-mail accounts. I know it likely won't, but this what should happen with an ethical law enforcement apparatus.

Podesta also gave a reference for a lawyer "who kept me out of jail."

These Clinton people are all criminals.

Not to worry, Clinton crony McAuliff gave half a million to the head of the FBI investigation's wife to make sure it is all above board!

What the Clintons have done to the FBI makes Whitey Bulger look like a piker.

With all the reductions in medical "insurance" coverage, what happens to the doctors and clinics not on the insurance companies' lists?
Do they just go "off the books?"

When the leaves fall off the trees, winter is coming. When you see all the water on the beach suddenly drain seaward a tsunami is coming. When all the dogs begin to bark, an earthquake is coming. When Anthony Wiener exposes a deeper corruption than his own, the Democratic party is over.

HT said...

What do you mean Hagar? Do you mean if a doc or clinic decides not to accept a certain insurance, what happens?

HT said...

Yes wildswan, the Dems are next, nothing unexpected about that.

Hagar said...

The insurance companies evidently have lists of doctors and clinics they will pay and their customrs are expected to go there. With more and more companies dropping out of the business, that should leave some medical providers out in the cold, and I suppose they must either go "cash only" or out of business.

Sydney said...

@Hagar- yes, this is happening. Insurance companies are narrowing their networks- preferring to work with large corporations that have bought up doctors' practices. Every region has its giant healthcare provider. Many doctors are going cash only. Some are selling out to their local Big Healthcare Inc., and some are looking into alternative business models that don't rely on insurance reimbursement. And many are retiring.

From Washington Post article re. Trump and Waukesha, WI:

“You’re in a town that’s about going to college and raising a family. People are polished and hard-working. He’s not one of us,” said Andy Schwichtenberg, a 28-year-old stockbroker.

“I did try,” Schwichtenberg added with a sigh. “I went to a rally.” But he was not swayed and he was turned off by the crowd, which he noted was packed with men and women “who came there on Harleys.”

People who ride Harleys are allowed to vote in WI? Say it aint so, Althouse!

Hagar said...

That is also what I am thinking. Doctors generally are quite talented people with substantial egos who are not going to like the Obamacare bureaucracy which is going to be so large that it will also suffuse through and dominate all other medical insurance. We are already short of doctors, and especially general practitioners or "family doctors," who are the most important ones for the public health and the ones most in contact with the people.
Having them quit to become stockbrokers, house painters, or whatever else may turn them on, is not going to help the public health situation at all.

Hagar said...

The best insurance in the world is not going to help if you cannot get to see the doctor in time.

Nor if the doctor you finally get to see is not much good.
I think Democrats are generally hostile to the idea that good professionals generally do not "work well with others," but that is how people are.

About the Weiner e-mails and outrage at Comey, please note that there apparently are 5 other FBI investigations with the Clinton name on the folders.
The bombshell to come may not be about the Benghazi mess at all.
