Regarding the shopping post:

1. Why do you feel you need minimum wage workers to tell you a story about merchandise you probably shouldn't buy anyway?

2. Other than groceries, you never pay the sticker price on apparel or soft goods. You bargain them down.

Who pays retail? You lived with a Jew for donkey's years....not to mention New York Jews accustomed to haggling with salespeople----the NY shops must see you coming a mile away....begging to pay sticker.

Dell has more Jew in her than you. At least she knows a bargain, and second-hand discounts.

Shop the Jewish way---it's a steal !

Love, Maxine

As for 1... When did I say I need that? I just confessed that the technique worked on me.

And as for 2, well, what that got to do with the morning fog?

Congrats on the 11 millionth visitor. I guess the next milestone is 11,111,111. Wouldn't it be cool to hit that number on November 11th? At precisely 11:11 a.m. [and eleven seconds].

Althouse: "what that got to do with the morning fog?"

It's called cognative dissonance, and I elevate it to a high art form.

I don't think it's fog. It's out of focus, or the camera moved at the long exposure time. Like what happens to most of my shots most of the time. You have a much better camera, whatever it is.

On the other hand a slow camera - rarely but sometimes - is handy, as at yesterday morning's dawn
