Teach your children about the house hippo.

Nicely done. Shown only in Canada.

Hippos are disgusting. They have a filthy habit of spraying liquid feces while spinning their stubby tails like a propellor, flinging poo more efficiently than even a liberal blogger.

When the clip started, I thought it was one of those "3 a.m." bits, and Hillary was going to call in an air strike on the purple beast.

heh...I thought is was one of those gruesome Canadian PSAs that show dreadful accidents. (Don't click on that link!)

Thank goodness the hippo didn't gore the cute kitty!

Put up floral pattern shower curtains so they feel at home.

That was a really clever way of getting that message across.

The house hippo is threatened by global warming.

Americans also had a house hippo!

Big, cute, rather innocuous, but he'll eat you out of house and home if you let him. Plus he'll shove a lot of crap down your throat, if unaware.

They called him Pierre Salinger.

Cheers,
Victoria

What I like about this PSA is that it is equipping kids to look out for themselves. It's not about shielding them, but cluing them in that people will try to trick them. I like that.

I like it too. Critical thinking is something that we don't seem to be imparting to our children.

Although...I wonder where I can order a house hippo?? They didn't give a web site. It might not be as cool as sea monkeys but I think my cat would enjoy a companion during the day.

I want a house hippo. Seriously if a hippo came in that size I'd get one.
