"'I Have Nothing' always seems to work, and 'Against All Odds' just doesn't. Ever."

It's Songs From Movies night tonight on "American Idol," and Throwing Things has all sorts of advice for Adam Lambert et al.

Hard Candy Christmas from Best Little Whorehouse in Texas would be great for L'il. Not that it matters, I think she's going home, even though the judges all but sing for her to keep her around. She's really underperformed the whole season.

Can Adam sing Time Warp?

Her name isn't an abbreviation of "little," but other than that. I agree. They've oversupported a boring singer. Boring and annoying.

Anoop Dog is out. Unless he is smart and does a full blown Bollywood production number. Now that I would like to see.

I think Adam should sing "I feel Pretty" from West Side Story. Or Evita.

Allison should sing that song from the "Rose" which I forget. You know the one I mean.

I think Adam should sing Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered from Pal Joey:

"I'll sing to him
each spring to him
and worship the trousers that cling to him"

He already has my vote though, no matter what he sings.

Professor and MM: I agree that Lil has consistently underperformed, but I thought the judges duly and pointedly (and jointly and severally) blasted her last week. Did that not count because they started off by saying "I know you can sing, but . . ."?

Adam doing Time Warp (or I'm Going Home) is a great idea.

Trooper, I'd say that's only out of desperation to preserve their credibility.
