It is cloudy and overcast here in central Mississippi. On a typical July day, if it was as sunny a day as you're having, it would be 95 and 80% humidity.

It's such that you actually look forward to the thunderstorms to give you a short break from the heat.

We had some nice days back in March though. What was it like in Wisconsin the 1st week of March?

Well, at least one sunny post, after three focusing on the dark side (iPhones problems, presidential rankings of the who's-the-worst variety and Iranian sharia "justice").

Yes, the world is full of problems and worse. But today is a beautiful day, in NYC as it seems to be in WI. So put aside the darkess for a little bit and enjoy the brightness.

I love that you stroll around a state park with an umbrella. How Victorian...or something.

Tonight, it's local fireworks with friends and Sunday, a parade in Whitewater with family.

I am lovin' this weather. It's what we wait all winter for...

I love going to reservations and buying fireworks. Ka-boom!

Cloudy and rainy in Austin. We'll take it though - keeps it from hitting 100.

"Shine!"

We will, whenever we can find our way back to the light.

Foozzle is the WF, and foozzled is how I feel when I encounter unexpected and unplanned sychronicity.

Especially when it reveals connection, involves visual beauty and follows a post on human brutality and hatred.

For the Althouse and Rhhardin photos to be so similar is one amazement. How Rhhardin manages to produce a seemingly natural and casual photo of his yard and have it reveal a square, a rectangle, a triangle, a trapazoid, a circle and a live dog holding a free shape is beyond amazement.

I wonder how much bright light is going to fall on Michael Steele's critique of the war in Afghanistan.

That is bright. Nicer weather over there than in CA? LOL! (Still some June gloom in the mornings.)
