Oh, just returned from the most enchanting K-street shindig with operatives from WH and DNC. It was a total blast. The Committee to Re-elect the POTUS is just thrilled - simply excited - that Gingrich is getting high marks from GOP. There is a concern that Cain will drop out. There was a suggestion that someone from WH would offer Cain some encouragement to stay in the race. We really want Perry, Newt, and Cain on the GOP radar.

The GOP ticket that is discussed: Gingrich/Perry.

This will ensure that the POTUS and V-POTUS will win everywhere across the our great land.

GOP: Go Gringrich, Go Perry, Go Cain.

Ann - which museum is that?

Museums are odd...

"Look!" But don't touch.

"Feel!" But don't lay one little finger on the precious specimens.

Morning newspaper headline...

"Speciwomen REVOLT!"

"Specimens Unfairly Dominate Museums!"

Crybaby Harry Reid's son got a job as city attorney in Henderson, NV. He got the job because Harry lobbied city council members and they lowered the qualifications for the job so Harry's son can get the job.
Harry's son is an enviromental lawyer and they hired him over another city attorney.

When I drove taxi in Seattle thirty some years ago Minnie Pearl did a show at the Paramount. One of the drivers on the extra board was a young Native American woman, a dead ringer for Pocohontas, who had only been driving for a few weeks. Dispatch gave her the bell to drive Minnie Pearl from the Westin to the Paramount. All you could hear on the radio was the dispatch side of the conversation, but it was crystal clear she'd never heard of Minnie Pearl. Howdy!

Maybe because "everyone" was down at the Le Censor Café.

Like there aren't eight taxis on the cab stand next to the flagpoles across the loading zone at the foot of the escalator. Any other guest wants a taxi the concierge points to the top of the escalator.

Minnie Pearl wants a taxi? They call the company for a driver who'll come up the escalator to page her at reception. It's only three blocks from the Westin to the Paramount.

A professional taxi driver gets a Johnny Unitas or a Jack Lemon in the cab and pretends the fare is just another joe.

For you lawyers out there: definition of a plea hearing - does that mean an agreement has been worked out between the prosecution and defense and they just have to present it to the court?

At first glance it looks like your typical curio shelf at the arab owned small smoke shop in a mall.

It's the Chazen Museum on the UW Campus. This case has objects that particular researchers are studying. There's a table where they can sit and handle the objects. It's a beautiful room. I've got a picture of it I should put up.
