"The harrowing last pleas... were left in a lengthy voice mail on a friend’s phone..."

"... though prosecutors wouldn’t say whether she accidentally or purposely dialed the woman for help."

I read somewhere that it was a butt-dial by the killer.

No, it was the victim's phone that was dialed. Her friend received the message.

Good idea to dial a friend as a way to record an encounter when you sense danger. That's a way to preserve the recording in case your attacker would take/destroy your recording device.

Even Mr. Biden's double-barreled shotgun would be of much more use than a telephone.

Now here is a case that begs for bringing back the electric chair. After all the appeals are exhausted the State could make him a generous offer of giving him a bottle of good whiskey and a cyanide pill. Cleaner and neater.

The eyes say it all.

This seems to be a thing among killers these days.

You know, if the busybody do gooders on the Left had minded their own business, creeps like this would get a quick, fair trial, and then a quick, efficent execution.

For some reason, looking at their pictures (especially him), I couldn't help but think of the pictures of that couple that got caught by 25 cops on bikes in a park having sex.

Then, I noticed this link at the bottom of the article:

Couple died ‘after window they had sex against broke

I hope the family files a civil rights lawsuit against NY for taking away her right of armed self defense.

What if an NSA snoop heard the murder instead of a friend's voice mail recorded the murder?

The murderer was not charged for lack of evidence.

Google Voice lets me listen to a voicemail as it's being recorded. I would think that the NSA has technology that allows them to do the same thing.
