Megyn Kelly has some trouble with Dinesh D'Souza's America/child molester analogy.

"Look at it this way: If I was in a family and I believed my dad was some kind of serial killer or a child molester, I would still love him. He would be part of my family, but I’d do everything I could to prevent him from doing evil actions. I would think that would be good for the world and for my dad. So with Obama, he believes he is doing the world a favor and America a favor by controlling this rogue elephant that is the United States."

It's not a PRETTY analogy, but I get his point.

Obama loving the US is a bit of a stretch to me (I think he loves the opportunities it gave to a useless cretin like him, but not the country overall), but the rest, to me, makes sense.

For him, America is the slave owning rapist of the environment. The bully who tells others to be nice. The threat that needs to be stopped.

He wants us to be cut down to size so other, "better" countries won't have to deal with us as boss.

He's done so.

Perfectly clear analogy, although "serial killer" probably works better in capturing what D'Souza is saying that Obama thinks about America.

What kind of comparison is that? Obama is no less violent than any president before him. He is directing the serial killer. The biggest difference now is that the serial killer now has a health plan.

Charlatan. Does he pay to be on TV?

Considering the racist mess the Republican Party has allowed itself to become, the term "rogue elephant" is actually quite apt,...

She isn't thinking too clearly but then women aren't very bright.

She has a knee-jerk reaction to the vehicle and changes the topic.

South Park is prophetic again! Remember what happened to the town when all the adults were accused of being child molesters!

He should look for a more hip analogy, like: "Suppose you're the Khaleesi and one of your dragons is off tearing up the neighborhood and incinerating little girls ..."

This is absurd.

When you factor in the lighting, the make-up, and the blonde hair, women are some of the brightest humans on TV around.

So Obama is a child and he's called the police on the US?

He's made our world more dangerous with his child-like view of the US and the world?

Liberals don't love America as it is. They love America as they think it should be. Since it's not there yet, they don't love America. They just love as it gives up each individual principle and tradition (some good, some bad admittedly).

Megyn is clearly there as eye candy, not much else. Like so much of the lamestream media nowdays. Now if they had Sharyl Attkisson, I would be happy.

Kelly is a sharp cookie. Folks who misunderestimate her will probably regret that.

Maybe dad doesn't want that kind of love.

It's hard to see how a thing like Barack Obama could love America. What would he love about America? The fact that it finally found a way to make Moochelle proud?

D'Souza constantly looks into Obama's head and sees more than what is there. While I get the analogy, I find it a bit of a stretch. D'Souza defies Occam's Razor with his explanations. Megyn Kelly is no dummy. She sees the analogy as overwrought and finally just moves on.

Just because you oppose Obama's policies and think they're bad for America doesn't mean you need to assume he hates this country or wants to see it fail. How is that any less absurd as claiming that conservatives hate the poor and minorities just because you believe their policies are bad for those groups?

I have no problem believing that while Obama loves this country and thinks he's doing things that will benefit it, he has been responsible for a number of disastrous policies. There's something in American politics today that makes everyone assume not just that their opponents are causing great harm, but that the great harm was part of an evil plan all along.

If you refuse to give a child a lollipop they want, because you can't afford it, they will scream about how much you hate them.

If you give a child that lollipop, and continue to give them lollipops despite making them sick, they will love you.

Obama doesn't 'hate' the country, but he has no idea how to run a country, and is more interested in being liked, no matter how destructive it is.

Hey, wasn't LBJ was called a "baby killer" before the very same people saw it in their interest to declare him a progressive icon.

America doesn't molest children--America just understands that sometimes it is necessary to destroy them in order to save them. E.g. Vietnam, Waco, etc.
