Re the tags: Transvestites and not transsexuals?

I guess one can be fond of dressing like a woman without claiming to be one so perhaps you are right until we find out more.

So, if they are actually trannies, is this the next step after gay rights? Invading govt buildings in the name of transexual rights?

If that is what they were doing.

Unsuccessful "Bosom Buddies" reboot.

Looks like they picked a bad week to transition.

The FBI said they do not believe the incident is related to terrorism

People in disguise try to break into the NSA.

How is the FBI defining terrorism?

traditionalguy said...

Looks like they tried the latest hybrid "hands up, don't shoot + we are only innocent little women here" trick. But the trained killer police shot them down like dogs.

Quick, call Al Sharpton. That must reach the second level for automatic nationwide anti-police demonstrations.

If they're dressed as women, they are women.

"Weatherman" wannabees are not "terrorists" according to the current NYT style manual.

I read somewhere that the vast majority of transvestites are straight men, and that you have a much better chance of finding a homosexual among a group of nontransvestites than among a group of transvestites.

Men attempting to penetrate the entry point--another example of the prevalence of rape culture.

I highly highly recommend the Amazon Prime show "TransParent" It is sooooooo good.

The Trans persons should watch Car and Driver episodes.

Ramming the gate in a Ford subcompact?

Get a RAM Heavy Duty...

a workable scenario. 2 of our local youths out to rob a bank in a stolen car and disguised as women take the wrong exit (1 too early) off HW 32 headed West and end up in the crowd of incoming cars approaching the NSA gate.

Ah shit. They panic, end up shot.

I wonder if they had their hands up.

All NSA penetration is rape.

Were they under orders from Morris Dees to smear a bunch of Chik Fil-a sandwiches on the Command Sergeant Major?

geokstr said...

Maybe it was the deep voices and the beards that gave them away. Just some more evidence of evolution, as the herd thins itself voluntarily.

MadisonMan said...

Maybe the bank only had a men's room?

MadisonMan said...

Wait a minute. That's the wrong joke!

@DrillSgt, maybe the bank only had a women's room?

jokes aside. somebody died and perhaps a guard was hurt.

Showing my biases, I hope it was the trans person who was killed, not somebody who was just waiting in line or a guard.

I know the layout of the NSA main building, having done contract work there.

There is no way unless you came in with a dozen armed men at the security gate that even one of them would make it to the doorway of a building alive.

Whether the perpetrators intended it or not, this was a suicide mission from the word go.

MadisonMan said...

I thought the story said one of the "woman" was killed, and the second was (likely) mortally wounded. Maybe I misread.

I wonder that penetrate in quotes in the article? Isn't that exactly what they did? Tried to penetrate?

For the sake of his 6 children, I hope this is not another case of Bruce Jenner driving while disoriented.

Probably investigative reporters from 'The Nation' dressed in burqahs.

You'd need at least a platoon.

Think about the entrance by the visitor center side (north side)

1. You need to go through the gate guards, in their armored guard house and anti-truck barriers, then

2. run 200 yards to the personnel gate, and once through there,

3 another 50 yards to the now locked main doors with armored gates and the pin turnstiles.

good luck.

Yes, what is with the reflexive denials that this or that incident has any relation to terrorism? Me, I'd say terrorism is a good first guess regarding an attempted invasion of the NSA by guys dressed as women, just as terrorism is a good first guess for why Herr Lubitz, depression victim, decided he might as well go out carrying 149 other people with him.

YoungHegelian said...

@Drill Sgt,

Yeah, I knew the details, but I'm not trying to give anyone out there any ideas or means.

But, we're both agree --- it's suicide.

"There are indications they were dressed as females," an official said.

Indications? What the hell does that mean?

BarrySanders20 said...

Their get-away was made difficult by the high heels. Dreadful things, and hard to run in when you're not used to them, so I've heard.

I had very high hopes for it, but I didn't make it to the end of the first act.

However, Mozart in the Jungle and Bosch actively kept my interest. I was pleased to see that Amazon Studios ordered another season of each.

This is, without any question, the golden age of tv.

Wouldn't be surprised to learn a couple of Secret Service agents took a wrong turn on the way to a party.

MDT,

"Yes, what is with the reflexive denials that this or that incident has any relation to terrorism?"

Our betters read 1984, and thought it was an instruction manual.

I just hope that people don't use this as an excuse to discriminate against transgendered terrorists.

Turns out it was 2 robbers fleeing from a Hotel robbery.

YoungHegelian said...

@Drill SGT,

Turns out it was 2 robbers fleeing from a Hotel robbery.

I can believe that.

For those who don't know the area, NSA HQ is very close to Baltimore-Washington International airport. The area between BWI & NSA is full of hotels that cater to the Intel community, airport travelers, general business, & Baltimore or DC tourists looking for a cheaper but still do-able stay.

But, my God, how stupid do you have to be to NOT to avoid the security gate at NSA if you're on the lam? Trust me, you just don't drive down the road and end up there. You've got to work at it.

Anonymous said...

as I said above, I bet they were headed west on route 32 and wanted Interstate 95 and turned too soon

YoungHegelian said...

@Drill,

It's still stupid. It hard to miss or mistake I-95 & MD-32 as I-95 is huge. Now, if they wanted the BW Parkway, and missed the turn, that I can understand.

But still, there are so many times to turn around before that security station. "Hey, officer, I need to get out of here pronto because I just committed a felony & I'm lost. Can you help me?"

James Pawlak said...

Another "War On Women? Were they "Camel Jockeys" as that is a common tactic of their ilk.

Paul Brinkley said...

I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case, although it was a decent guess. The location is actually hard to get to from 32 - they'd've had to exit around Annapolis Junction and then do a lot of winding around 2-lane roads. Much easier to get to by 295-SB, except there's a big exit sign there that effectively tells robbers "if you take this, you're a total dumbass".

Assuming it's true that they were hotel robbers (haven't seen it in my feed yet), it's more likely that they robbed one of the hotels in the NBP corporate park area, got on one of the side roads, and didn't realize it wouldn't afford exit onto 295. Whoops!

Paul,

i agree. It looks like they came in that back road from AJ.

"The FBI said they do not believe the incident is related to terrorism."

Another obvious case of workplace violence, especially if they were bank robbers.

Very strange event.

Another good argument for gun ownership. Wackos do not always go after government installations guarded by armed soldiers.
